DO NOT USE THEM DO NOT USE THEM. I recently adopted an adorable little mixed Pom and signed up for Pawp after research (admittedly I should have put more time into this), and when Chucky got hurt from a sprained leg playing in the dog park, Pawp did everything they can find a reason to not cover him. I paid for insurance for these type of exact accidental injuries, so now I’m fighting to get Chucky’s medical reimbursed and wasting weeks with their representative. LOOK INTO NATIONWIDE instead, my parents use them and they never had an issue.

Probably the WORST service to use Probably the WORST service to use. DO NOT USE THEM! I repeat DO NOT USE THEM if you care about your furry friend. They won’t pay for any emergency. The only way they will pay if your dog is at death’s door. My dog had a major injury and they refused to pay saying he won’t die from this. So it is not an emergency. Please, go with Lemonade or Nationwide. They are at least a 1000 times better than this. P.S.: Pawp if you are seeing this, shame on you! Also dont even try to comment on this review by apologizing and asking to reach out to customer care because I know you are just a big bunch if SCAMMERS!

7 Day Grace Period or your Screwed! Dog was cut by a piece of tin; video conference with 'licensed vet tech' who approved emergency care. Submitted a request for emergency funds along with the receipt that the vet had provided to me. PAWP refuse documentation and requested full medical history with itemized/detailed vet notes surrounding procedure with a "7-day grace period" and if you are unable to acquire these docs from your vet and submit them 'your screwed". Vet didn't respond and I had to be in NYC for treatment of prostate cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering. I have been a client of PAWP for at least 5 years and they stated "NO EXCEPTIONS". Bill was for 741.00! PAWP REASONING: 7-Day Grace period is so they can continue to provide services for other clients, Meaning: we are not going to hire more people to continue to provide good customer service.

Scam artist My dog Daise had a lot of blood in her urine she was in pain and we took her to emergency they did a bunch of tests and it cost $2,000 the vet said good thing you brought her in it was 11pm I submitted the claim to Pawp and their r own vet said good thing we took her in when she saw how much blood was in her urine. Pawp declined my claim saying it is outside their policy. What a joke been paying premiums for over 3 years and this is what they do Look elsewhere for emergency pet insurance. Update I have tried reaching out to support but no answers, They do not have a phone number that works either. I do plan on filing a report to the AG and BBB.

The calm in the storm Courtney kept me calm when I thought I couldn’t be…my 9 year old pup Sheba had been attacked by a dog while we were out on our walk, there weren’t many puncture wounds, but the ones she had were deep and she was bleeding. Courtney answered my questions and gave me insight on what to expect. Sheba continued bleeding after holding pressure for a little over an hour; at that point it was decided to get Sheba checked out to ensure that she didn’t having a clotting disorder. Sheba got her wounds washed out well, antibiotics and pain meds were given, and we were on our way home. Sheba is now on the mend.
