JUST DON'T They seriously need to tighten up their rules. Allowing obvious scams to run ads on their site is just not cool. I got burned by one myself. There was this fake company pretending to be legit. Luckily, I got my cash back and reported them. But guess what? I'm scrolling through the site later, and boom, there's another ad from those same scammers! Like, seriously, they're acting like nothing happened. So, my advice: don't click on anything linked to them.

fundamental UX feature missing: board search when pinning to be fair, I mostly do like the UX of the Pinterest app on Android. it's well designed and has some innovative features I wish some other apps adopted. why am I upset? in the past few years users have been requesting a search function in the boards when pinning something. I don't understand how something as simple as that isn't attended for by their UX team. it's such a key feature of the Pinterest experience—pinning things on boards. but they make it very hard by not allowing users to search through their boards to quickly find the destination of a new pin. this is a feature I use on end on the PC version (which by the may still does not support dark mode 😂).

They just don't care Waiting for response to an escalated complaint. Absolutely nothing from them despite repeated attempts to contact them. If it doesn't benefit them they just don't care. I notice from TrustPilot stats that Pinterest do not reply to any negative reviews. They just don't care

Ran by boring people Used to use Pinterest back in 2010. Haven't used properly in years. For some reason last couple of months of 2024 I keep getting emails about pins being removed for violating terms. Album covers and such. Must be ran by some right straight laced boring folk now as none of them have been offensive in anyway, but conveniently the appeal link on the email never works. Chuff right off you boring people.

It wasn't clear which one it was but it was probably punk related I appealed and it was replaced Tonight a nasty email saying pin removed as encourages eating disorder I have appealed I am careful what I pin and they are existing pins not uploaded by me. It is upsetting and distressing and it is difficult to contact them I don't feel I want to follow pinterest if they continue with this harrassment I feel let down I have been a member since 2016 UPDATE, This morning they sent me a nasty email to say they have reinstated pin but will monitor to make sure I'm not violating with any other pins even though The original pin wasn't violating. They are causing their subscribers undue upset and stress It's good they monitor violations but present system alienates subscribers and people will leave
