GBBOTM customer service/Levi, from North Carolina! I want to reach out and let everyone know about the experience I had with BOTM. I thought I had canceled due to being subscribed to many things. I love BOTM but felt I could go back when I could afford it. BOTM took money out of my account because I just PAUSED my subscription and it was time for them to reopen my account. I called BOTM and got ahold of a young man named Levi from North Carolina. He said he worked from home. He was soooo mannerly, considerate, and was just a joy talking to. He helped me right away, explaining step by step about what was going to happen next. I wish all customer service employees were like Levi. Levi rocked his job!

GBI have loved BOTM for 2+ years I have loved BOTM for 2+ years. I think $17ish for a hardcover book every month is more than appropriate. The monthly selections are diverse from a lot of different genres with good options to choose from. I love to option to skip if nothing speaks to me but it has also expanded my reading and I find myself enjoying books I never would have read otherwise. I have contacted customer service and they were very helpful when I had questions. Great company!

GBI cannot say enough about Book of the… I cannot say enough about Book of the Month! I've been a subscriber for six months now and have been so impressed with everything about it. From the pricing for brand new novels to the packaging and amazing customer service. You cannot go wrong with this one!

GBTerrible customer service Terrible customer service Canceling my account I had to email twice about a lost package. It took them three days to get back to me. They tried to blame it on a book shortage. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Everyone knows that USPS is bad right now. McDonalds has better customer service. Do not recommend

GBThey scam you and make it impossible to cancel This entire thing is a complete scam. They get you by offering a discounted book, but once you click it they force you into a membership you didn't agree to be a part of. When trying to cancel the membership, the cancel button only brings up a message reading : "As part of your $5 enrollment offer, you agreed to be renewed at least one time. You are currently scheduled to be renewed on January 26th, 2024 for $16.99 and 1 credit will be added to your account. You can use that credit to shop for one of our January selections. If you still want to cancel after trying another month of BOTM (though we hope you decide to stick around a while), you can do so by returning to this page." but it does not allow you to actually go forward with cancelling. When you contact any of the actual customer service representatives, they send a cancel link that just takes you to the exact same message. So, 1) they force you to sign up for a membership you don't want and 2) they don't allow you to cancel the membership you never wanted in the first place. Horribly dishonest and corrupt. Do not give them your time of day.
