GBSeems VERY misleading! Customer service representative became more and more agitated when I didn't commit to contract and payment. He became rude simply because I was doing my due diligence and looking at competitors and their price points and how they compared to the Amazon Audio Book Publishing offer. To be fair, his supervisor stepped in and was polite. But when I asked if their company was directly affiliated with Amazon, his answer was vague. Here is his answer: "Amazon is an e-commerce platform selling almost everything and they have sub-companies to take care of the categories and seller facilitations. For book publication facilitation they have a sub-company called ‘Amazon Publishings’ You can google it for more clarification. We are affiliated with Amazon Publishings which is under the umbrella of Amazon run by Jeff Bezos. In short, you are at the right place, no need to worry about it. Regards,” I did "Google" their company. and it appears they are NOT under the umbrella of Amazon. I searched on and throughout direct links with Amazon…if their company is affiliated, it’s very challenging to find them directly through any connection with Amazon. Had he simply been truthful, I might have actually still considered using their company. And, had the original sales representative been kinder, my "red flag" radar probably wouldn't have gone off today. Also, to be fair, I have no idea if they actually deliver on what they promise. I didn't want to risk over a $1000 to find out when even at the customer service stage of just getting information about them, they seemed to be rude and misleading. They definitely want you to believe they are associated with Amazon; kudos to them for being savvy with their own marketing and use of the name. But it seems to be more than just strategic. It feels dishonest. For example, in one of my earliest exchanges with the first sales representative, he asked if my email was the same email I use with Amazon. Why would they ask this if they're not affiliated with Amazon? In my last email to the supervisor, I wrote, "It appears you are not under the umbrella of Amazon." His reply?: "Alright. Feel free to get back to me if you need our help." So, he didn't dispute my findings, but earlier he seemed to double down on their affiliation. I’m open to being corrected, but If they're dishonest and not forthcoming about this, can they really be trusted with what they promise? I honestly don't know, but it's weighed heavily enough on me to write this review.

GBGood to work with During the audiobook process, Mark WIlliams served as an attentive and capable liaison with the audio team. As unforeseen problems arose, solutions were quickly found. There were times of miscommunication with the audio team, hence, not a "perfect" rating, but the outcome was good and my trust was never broken. The financial dealings were also transparent and well accounted for. A long process, but a good one - necessary to create a good product.

GBDedication and unyielding support Mark and Amanda have surpassed what the term 'customer service' could represent. As a fresh new author, Mark helped guide me through the process with patience and diligence. Although I have not spoken as much with Amanda, she has always made sure I am staying on top of my writing goals and she is constantly updating and editing the manuscript. Through this process I have also been transitioning between houses and jobs yet through the chaos they were still 100% supportive. Even when I had a rough patch through my job transition and wasn't sure if I would be able to pay on time, Mark constantly checked in to make sure I was doing well, not just for the book but for my personal well being! He truly is a blessing amongst the Audible publishing team.

GBWriting a book? Call Mark. Writing a book is not easy. Even so, the labyrinthian undertaking of getting it to market is, in its own way, just as difficult. And, as in my case, multiple books, on multiple platforms are involved, the task becomes complex in the extreme. But from the moment we met, Mark Williams took me by the hand––electronically, of course––and "humanized" the journey we would be taking together. Mark's calm, professional and knowledgeable guidance was outstanding. Regardless the issue, Mark's reassuring response was always the same. "No problem. I will fix it." And he did. Every time.

GBAUDI0 BOOK AND WEBSITE THIS WAS A LONG PROTRACTIVE EXPERIENCE TO COMPLETE HALF OF THE TASK ASSIGNED. THE AUDIO BOOK WAS NOT DONE WHICH WAS WHAT I PAID FOR THE COMPANY TO DO. THEY DID REFUND THE MONEY PROMPTLY FOR NOT DOING IT. THE WEBSITE TOOK A LONG TIME 3 MONTHS TO DO BUT IT WAS EVENTUALLY DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. MARK WILLIAMS WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE WORK I BELIEVE DID THE BEST HE COULD. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO USE THIS COMPANY WILL HAVE TO TAKE OUR EXPERIENCE INTO CONSIDERATION. HOWEVER IN THE END WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE WEBSITE RESULTS.
