That being said, my mother and father have used Epic Will and I would recommend it to anyone as a first step in estate planning.

Every term was explained in language I could understand, and the step-by-step instructions helped me to thoroughly think through all of the important questions. Now, it's a huge burden lifted to know that my daughter will be taken care of according to my wishes if something happens to me.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it didn't have enough options for us to complete our estate documents and we ended up moving forward with a lawyer for our needs. For that reason, I'd recommend that anyone whose will is relatively straightforward definitely use Epic Will--super affordable and easy to use. For more complicated estates, save yourself some time and hire a pro.

Easy to use If you have any complexities such as a trust or disinheriting someone, online wills are probably not the way to go. That said, Epic Will is an easy to use website that walks you through the process step by step. It is very good for simple and straightforward wills. Ultimately I was not able to use it but not because of a problem with the product itself. The company worked with me to understand my challenge and issued me a full refund.
