GBAVOID THIS COMPANY I wish I could give this company zero stars. Worst moving experience of my life. After picking up my items that I was told were going to be delivered on September 4th, I didn't end up getting my items until Sept 12th with absolutely no communication. I packed my life saving medication and all my clothing to start a new job and was left high and dry for weeks. The worst of it was when they were unloading, first they showed up 8 hours late and refused to unload my items unless I paid them $150 more dollars. No one could explain why, I was straight up shaken down for money. They were also supposed to assemble my furniture, but brought no tools with them. They told me it was fine, but they second the left at 11pm at night, I sat on my bed AND IT COMPLETELY FELL APART. The legs snapped and my expensive bed frame was destroyed. They also did the same thing to both my nightstands. All my boxes were crumpled and beaten, it looked like they had moved them multiple times since picking them up. There was nothing I could do except file a moving claim and it's been months without seeing any result of that. The moving claims company looked like a scam as well, tons of ad pop-ups and entering in the same information over and over. Do anything in your power to avoid this company at all costs.

GBBad business, decent people Imagine hiring a babysitter through an agency for $20 / hour for your 9 month old baby. Once you’re out having fun (and have already paid a deposit), the babysitter calls to inform you that the baby has soiled himself, and it’ll be $5 to change the diaper (even though you have diapers) and $10 if there’s poop inside it. Furthermore, once it’s time to eat, they’ll charge separately for heating the meal you’ve already prepared, feeding the baby, and burping him. When you call the support line for the agency and argue that you’re paying them $20 / hour and it should be included, a customer service representative informs you its company policy, and their hands are tied. Moreso, somewhere deep in your contract, you’ve already agreed to this fee structure. Unfortunately because it’s your baby and you love him, you’re forced to pay these exorbitant fees, lest he go hungry, remain dirty, or choke. It’s not the customer service rep’s fault - heck, it’s not even the babysitter’s fault. It’s the company that set these rules. This sums up my experience dealing with Safe Ship moving. They tell you one thing and promise you peace of mind, but in the fine print, you’re going to pay a lot more. I'd prefer they just raise their rates so there's no surprises. Trying to work with customer service and various managers has been akin to trying to get a deaf, one-legged dog to clap - it’s impossible, and I feel stupid for having tried. They can’t hear you, can’t understand you, and even if they could, they can’t help you. I would rather attempt to teach a quadruple amputee sign language than to work with this company again. 2 out of 5 stars because my stuff still got delivered.

GBThe only think worse than the job the… The only think worse than the job the did is the way they treated me afterwards. They literally pretended to want to solve a dispute and GHOSTED ME LIKE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS. Like cowards. Paid for a full service and my husband ended up having to help the single mover who showed up

GBBest long distance movers is Safebound When I tell you, I was so very skeptical because of all the research and all the different moving companies and bad reviews that are online… I had pretty much given up and decided to rent a U-Haul, and do the move myself from Florida to Georgia. But then I found Safebound Moving & Storage and read the reviews. They were predominantly positive, so I decided to give them a shot. Not only did they give me the best price for the move, but they had my stuff delivered in a week’s time. And the best part….everything was delivered in the condition it left in, including my $2K OLED TV (I was so stressed the entire time). Each member of the team made sure I was informed of the price and timing each step of the way. Patric was great and walked me through the entire process until my items were picked up. And the movers, Mike and Tavares were excellent. Handled everything with care and made sure it was placed accordingly in my new place. I give Safebound a 10/10 rating. I highly recommend them over any company I’ve moved with in the past.
