GBMoney Spent Wisely. Found this business off google search originally and reached out for pricing. This was obviously a much more involved process than a regular move. I gathered as much info as I could over the phone from them. No matter where you go it's still going to be in the thousands to get re-situated in the U.K. I was more concerned about the service and arrival time. Ended up saving a little more using their shared carrier option. The timing and communication was handled well. The information provided never changed. The pricing was taken care of prior to the delivery with no additional charges added later on.

GBSeamless Transition We've been saving and planning to move to Paris for over a year now and it was finally time. Schmidt gave us the best options of the bunch. They were quite responsive as well. The crew that they sent were very nice, efficient and prompt. They were able to execute this move without adding any stress or confusion to this situation. Once we began working with them it was a seamless. That's very hard to find with international movers.

INThey Kept Every Promise Everything arrived within the promised estimated time & I never got asked for any additional payments. We paid upfront and money was never spoken of again. It definitely felt a bit weird paying thousands to work with a company we've never used before but at the end of the move... it honestly felt like a steal. They relocated so much stuff for us and everything arrived in perfect condition. One of the movers even labeled boxes that we forgot to label ourselves.

GBAbysmal service, zero accountability. My wife and I contracted this company to move our household items from Oakland, CA to Dundee, Scotland. We didn’t think the price for the move was too bad, and the 3-month timetable seemed fair. It ended up taking them 10 months to deliver anything, many of our items were smashed to bits when we received them, and they ended up charging us an additional $1000 to get our items off the dock. We ended up going back and forth with their “Customer Service” department about all this. We were eventually offered $400 in recompense, provided we sign a “settlement agreement” freeing them from all legal liability for the late delivery and damages, and restricting us from commenting publicly on their staggeringly poor service. I don’t like being held over a barrel like that, so here we are. In any case, if you decide to go with this company, maybe don’t ship anything that’s too important to you, or that you want to see again any time soon.

GBTime and research paid off It's very difficult finding a good International moving company to put your trust in. I got quotes from a bunch of different place all at different price points. My goal wasn't just trying to find the most affordable, but to find a place with a lot experience. That was the hardest part to figure out. It took research and some asking around but Schmidt ended up being the best option for me. They were easy to speak with over the phone and completely upfront with pricing. I needed everything to arrive in 3 weeks or less and they were able to meet my needs. The shipment arrived in great shape and the movers at the other end were very professional. No Complaints.
