Money Spent Wisely. Found this business off google search originally and reached out for pricing. This was obviously a much more involved process than a regular move. I gathered as much info as I could over the phone from them. No matter where you go it's still going to be in the thousands to get re-situated in the U.K. I was more concerned about the service and arrival time. Ended up saving a little more using their shared carrier option. The timing and communication was handled well. The information provided never changed. The pricing was taken care of prior to the delivery with no additional charges added later on.

Abysmal service, zero accountability. My wife and I contracted this company to move our household items from Oakland, CA to Dundee, Scotland. We didn’t think the price for the move was too bad, and the 3-month timetable seemed fair. It ended up taking them 10 months to deliver anything, many of our items were smashed to bits when we received them, and they ended up charging us an additional $1000 to get our items off the dock. We ended up going back and forth with their “Customer Service” department about all this. We were eventually offered $400 in recompense, provided we sign a “settlement agreement” freeing them from all legal liability for the late delivery and damages, and restricting us from commenting publicly on their staggeringly poor service. I don’t like being held over a barrel like that, so here we are. In any case, if you decide to go with this company, maybe don’t ship anything that’s too important to you, or that you want to see again any time soon.

Consistent I've done two moves with Shmidt now. One where they helped me crate a few items and move them. And another time to move just a state away. Customer service is very personable and I think that's important when dealing with a business. I judge most companies based on consistency not just service. After paying for their services twice and getting a great experience both times I'm very comfortable recommending this place to others.

Time and research paid off It's very difficult finding a good International moving company to put your trust in. I got quotes from a bunch of different place all at different price points. My goal wasn't just trying to find the most affordable, but to find a place with a lot experience. That was the hardest part to figure out. It took research and some asking around but Schmidt ended up being the best option for me. They were easy to speak with over the phone and completely upfront with pricing. I needed everything to arrive in 3 weeks or less and they were able to meet my needs. The shipment arrived in great shape and the movers at the other end were very professional. No Complaints.

THEY SAVED OUR SITUATION Because of another international moving group that was very inconsiderate, I had to reschedule my move. I was left without movers and needed everything in our two bed two bathroom home shipped to Ottawa ASAP to start my new job and life. Thank god I found this place. They got my move started 3 days after I called. No hidden fees, or any annoying moments. We were very hands and they were super hands all handling literally every detail of this move. Wasn't exactly what a full service move really was until I worked for them
