Profound is not a Moving Company We contracted for moving services with Profound Moving after reading the excellent reviews. Our move was from Indiana to Florida. Everything was very professional on the phone, but when the movers arrived on April 27, 2022, we were told that they were not Profound and that Profound just contracts out the moves. We had no idea who the movers were, but they were courteous and professional enough. They also stated that they were picking up another customer's items, but they had no stickers to differentiate what belonged to who. I offered to tag mine, but was told they were getting stickers from the office and they knew what was ours. When the truck arrived to drop off our belongings on May 7, 2022, we noticed our hand truck was missing and later another box with dishes was also missing. Several bins were damaged and our new luggage showed signs of unnecessary wear. I did not know who the mover was but I did have the phone number of the mover since I paid with Zelle. I also contacted Profound. We have just filled out a loss form, but beware who you are doing business with. I would not have contracted with a company who was going to source out the move and then direct me back to the unknown mover when there was a problem. I am hopeful this will end well, but I have serious doubts. If this is resolved to my satisfaction, in the interest of fairness, I will update this review. As of July 25, 2022, nothing has been resolved. Profound has directed us to deal with Lifetime Moverz directly and file a claim. Unbelievable! Bait and Switch! Beware!

These guys are the best in the… These guys are the best in the business! Strong, polite gentleman. Took care of all my questions, concerns, as well as my 93 year old mothers belongings. Very fair price too!

FELT SCAMMED OUT OF MY MONEY FELT SCAMMED OUT OF MY MONEY - WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Honestly, I NEVER write reviews for a company that hasn't done a good job. I don't see the point. BUT, this time is different. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had to create a Google Account just for this review. They were great initially when they are trying to get your business. Super Responsive, very friendly, answers all questions, etc. Moving is a stressful time in anyone's lives, especially when moving across the country. You want to be able to have trust in a broker that you have hired to be your advocate and provide all details. I promise you, that I was not a needy, crazy person when I give you the details of what happened. So, after you spend your money and book with them, they are no longer available. They DO NOT ANSWER. They have a phone systems for different options, Press 1 for this; press 2 for that; etc. Each option goes to a voicemail system, but you are not able to leave a voicemail because the mailbox is full. They also provide texting and email. I received zero responses on any of these options for a few days. It was just 3 days before my scheduled move, and I still didn't know the exact day; moving company that I was book with; time of pickup, etc. You know, all the details that are important! I called; I texted; I emailed. The entire week leading up to the move, there was no response. At this point, I assumed that I got scammed. It was just an awful feeling. Especially when you think of the money that you had spent to secure the move. Details are important. When I say I didn't have any, I mean NONE. FINALLY, I got a quick call back, which was vague on the Wednesday before the weekend move. I was told that the moving company would be in contact for a window of when they would be at my house to pick up and that it was scheduled for Sunday that weekend. I NEVER received that phone call. I had to initiate a call back to Profound AGAIN. It was just super unprofessional all the way around. I just wanted to get the info for the actual moving company and remove the broker from the entire situation. Then, I have my estimate with 836 CF (5852 LBS). Profound provided the moving company with 300 CF - the poor drivers when then came did not realize that they had over double to move. It was just sad. I felt terrible for them. Profound had also advised that I would be scheduled for my delivery at the new home on Dec. 28th. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The moving company stated that this will be the first possible date for delivery and that they have 30 days from pickup. I was NEVER told this. It is just so deceitful that Profound would provide this information. This was so frustrating to find out, because we made plans to drive across country and arrive the night before our movers were going to arrive. We took the time off work, we planned this down to the day. Now, we will get to our new place and not have any furniture, household items, etc. The actual moving company has been great. They have been communicative, honest and AMANZING! Lesson learned cut the middle man out and go directly to the source. You will have a better experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Profound Moving was an excellent choice… Profound Moving was an excellent choice for me and my family. They were professional, punctual, and delivered exactly what we were promised. Jake the outstanding representative who set this move up, made the whole experience easier than I thought imaginable. Thank you Profound for your help with getting to the next chapter of our lives. Couldn't have done it without yall!

Joe and Wesley were excellent… Joe and Wesley were excellent throughout the course of my move to Indiana. They gave me the real price the first time, and provide an excellent crew of guys to get me moved. 10/10, would recommend
