GBmanufacturer does not stand behind stated support 09/25/2023 WOW reply is even MORE of a indictment of the THE SCAMER who sold it. is not the person reasonable for the WARRENTY the manufacture is! I do not have any interest in your selling model making the person WHO has no Parts to send me. here is a good example of excellent cust service I have a Aqueon fish tank with a led hood, the leds in the hood started blinking and it was no longer usable i contacted the manufacture and they replaced the hood for no charge, not even any shipping no questions asked. you should aspire to this level of service The talk to the SALES Rep is norting more than a SCAM to shift responiceibly for YOU the manufacture to the seller to DELAY DELAY DELAY I have no hope of you honuoering you ON THE WEB SITE warrenty for life Hello fellow Amazonians Okay two-part review so I purchased this newer model canister filter to replace one that I already had which was a model EPC-850-UV because it had stopped functioning and since I did not want my fish tank be without filtering I purchased this model EPC-1000-UV because it was a three tray set of the original two tray The new filter was very easy to set up and is running just fine and I actually used the original intake and outtake from the first unit since they fit perfectly Okay the Fish happy I am ready to see about replacing the parts that are damaged in the original filter so they may use it on a different tank when I tried to contact the manufacturer directly to purchase parts because I knew it was no longer in warranty this is the email I got from the manufacturer if you consider long-term support for something that is going to be a product you're going to use for many years you may want to consider this reply I got from them in your decision to purchase their product there are many many filters in this price range on Amazon maybe one of the other manufacturers will stand behind their product on there web site it has this: lifetime customer support that means i should be able to buy replacement parts Dear Friend, I'm sorry to tell you that since you purchase the filter from other store, we can not sell it to you even though we have seemingly the same accessories. We cannot guarantee that your filter will work properly with our accessories. Thanks for understanding. Best Regards Sally
