GBworked it out Atlantic Relocation has assigned Mr Miller to my account. I realize not all employees are as good as others and do make mistakes. Mr Miller has assured me they are working with employees to offer better quotes and honor those quotes. Mr Miller has resolved my concerns. I was working with Miles (I am saying was, Miles no longer takes my calls) to schedule my move and was intentionally articulate to ensure he was fully aware of ALL items and the size of items to move. My quote was based on a written inventory list and photos of each item. A call 2 days prior to the move Atlantic Relocation attempted to increase the price by $2246.44 (I will correct other reviews to reflect the correct amount, the contract used my initial deposit as a discount and not credit, confusing) When packers arrived at my home they attempted to increase the price again, an additional $1700. I had to remove furniture pieces to keep the price as quoted. (all verbal) Meanwhile, Miles assured me of same-day delivery. On the day of pick up, they wanted me to sign a document that stated they had up to 21 business days to deliver, I refused to sign this document and referred back to the same-day delivery, per Miles, I came to the realization, that it would most likely be the 7 days per the original contract. NOPE, It has been 2 weeks and I have made numerous calls to the number they provided - NO RESPONSE. I reach out to the out-of-state branch, phone number, they make a ticket, I eventually receive a call, each time promises are made, but not kept. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY FURNITURE IS OR WHEN I WILL RECEIVE IT. Use at your own risk. So you do not fall for the same tricks I did, 1. The representative will not be there for you thru the moving process until the end. They will in fact, not return your calls when you need them and if they mistakenly do answer, you will be on hold forever and the promises will be a waste of your time and his/her breath. 2. You will not receive your belongings and will be sleeping on borrowed furniture, in a hotel, or couch surfing until your bed arrives. So plan accordingly. 3. Miles stated he has worked for this company for 4 years and has never had any issues like this. I doubt it. I am very detailed and I find if this happened to me, this type of event has happened numerous times before me, I will speak up about it and share until the end to warn others to be aware. Lesson learned: moving trucks don't have wings, and delivery time can vary depending on distance and load size.
