They kept in constant communication with me letting me know the status of the trailer, when the charges were going to be made what my trailer limitations were and everything else that went along with this. This was the most positive moving experience I’ve had in moving my own household goods.

Well Done MovingPlace made all their deadlines, the trailer was on time and functional, and treated us with respect. They kept in touch throughout the entire process, and dropped and picked up the trailer when they said they would. I can recommend them heartily.

If you have the means, go with a different company I dont write reviews but for how much moving services cost you should have an idea of what you're paying for. The reason why I went with Moving Place is because they were the cheapest option at the time. But this price tag comes with major caveats such as poor customer service and poor care of transported goods. Long story short, they poorly explained their service when I first place my order. When you go with Moving Place what you get is rented space on a semi truck. Not a big deal, but when you dont make this explicitly clear when making this purchase its misleading about what you are getting. And this wouldn't be all too bad if they properly manage their trucks. My things were caked and covered in dirt and residue floating around in the truck and my things were damaged despite a thorough packing job. So unless you are on a tight budget, I suggest you go with a different company.

West coast to east coast move (CA to… West coast to east coast move (CA to NC), and MovingPlace made the whole process easy. It was so easy, we worried there was a catch. The price was by far the best of the 6 quotes we got. The container showed up on time for us to pack and arrived early to unpack (surprising us). From our very unprofessional packing, only one glass broke. Their people followed up every step of the way, too, excellent communication.
