My wife and I used several moving… My wife and I used several moving companies, but decided to hire Safeway Moving because of the broken furniture. They found Andrew and Safeway Moving online, who were punctual, polite and did the job of wrapping the furniture. They also trusted Andrew to move their TV and would recommend them.

Horrible movers - so much damage I had such high hopes for this company and was so incredibly disappointed. Safeway ruined thousands of dollars of our things, including water damage that they never disclosed! They lied to us about when our belongings would arrive and went so far as to give us false tracking information. Boxes arrived crushed and with holes in them. Dozens of boxes never arrived at all. The truck looked like they had thrown our items in - there was a 100+ lb. chair on top of a pile of fragile boxes. They brought clearly labeled boxes in upside down! They had put heavy boxes on top of boxes that were clearly marked with fragile items like lamps. They showed a complete disregard for our belongings. I have never had such a horrible experience with a moving company. They never apologized or even attempted to make things right.

They Showed up to 10 am like they said… They Showed up to 10 am like they said and worked with dedication from packing to delivery. I was impressed with how they wrapped it up flawlessly in 8 hours (including delivery time).will definitely hire them again!

This company is a scam This company is a scam. I was quoted comparable rates, but wanted to support a Veteran owned company, as I am also a Vet. The day before my movers were to pickup my household items, no one had called to confirm, I had to reach out to them we went over the manifest again, providing exact measurements of all my belongings, plus the exact number of boxes. I was then informed they wouldnt pack my tv and paintings, when i was originally told they would. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, i was told they would do it for an additional $100. When the movers arrived, they immediately said all my items were larger then what I indicated- FALSE. The movers said it would be an additional $800 or they wouldn't take my stuff. I had no options since I was leaving the next day. I was called a couple of days later for my new address and I filed a complaint. I was told a supervisor would call me THAT day to hear my grievance. No one called! When my items were to be delivered, the CONTRACTED delivery company had different policies than Safeway and it cost me an additional $150 for the delivery. I should have not let my soft heart for fellow vets cloud my financial decision making. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY- SCAM!

SCAMMED ME OUT OF $12,989.68 SCAMMED ME OUT OF $12,989.68, BROKE/THEIR OWN REP SAID THIS WAS THE WORST HE’S EVER SEEN/DESTROYED MY THINGS/REPORTED THEM FOR CHARGES I’m disabled and needed assistance with packing and moving. Safeway gave me a binding quote of $23,480 to pack and move me then refused to load the last load (items that were already on my inventory list) into the truck unless I agreed to pay them $36,469.68 instead. When I tried to get out of the contract and get my $4,000 deposit back they said that they wouldn’t give it back to me because it was under 72 hours before they were supposed to come pack me – but they called me 48 hours before so that I wouldn’t be able to get my $4,000 back & when it would be almost impossible (especially with $4,000 less money) to find someone else to move me. They said I had more inventory than they anticipated even though they did a video call and they said the video call was sufficient to know what I have. It’s Safeway’s job, not mine, to give an accurate quote. Safeway told me that unless I agreed to pay them almost $13,000 more they would not release my things to me. Safeway also said that after 45 days of free storage I would pay $1,227 a month - then they charged me $2,306. Safeway gave me the wrong wire information and their bank ended up charging me for it. By law Safeway had to let me know where my things were being held and they would never tell me where my things were being kept. Safeway also sent me pictures of someone else’s things in their inventory and tried to say it was mine. They also came to pack me with one 18 wheeler and two 26 foot box trucks but when they drove from Florida to Oregon with my things they only showed up with one 18 wheeler. They also gave me someone else’s things that I had to give back to them. Numerous items in boxes were also either mislabeled or not labeled at all and several things that were supposed to be together were scattered in numerous and various mislabeled boxes. Safeway broke and/or destroyed/are missing so many things of mine that I’m literally making a list.Every day I find something else broken, etc.
