The crew took out an aging railroad-tie retaining wall and bushes as well to accommodate a new crushed-concrete base with beveled stone blocks and caps fronting a geogrid mesh behind every two rows of stone. The wall runs the length of one side of my property. It is graduated in height, with the tallest and longest length measuring just under four feet tall. The project also involved moving and reinstalling sprinkler system pipes and includes a drainage system with weep holes.

There is really no way to request a… There is really no way to request a simple repair. However, I just checked something to elicit a response and once I reached an actual person it went well. It was very frustrating to get responses from angi as though I wanted bids on a new system but it did get me in touch with someone who solved the problem. These elaborate computer systems make communication difficult.

It was dangerous work that required finesse, experience and courage to cut them down and haul them away. Our worries about our home and garage were relieved as they progressed over the course of two and a half days. They worked their machines and chainsaws with the artistry of ballet dancers, if one could only give an analogy such as that. It was astonishing to watch Geddy work his excavating machine through thick woods and brush, with the help of his brother, to complete their tasks, and they did so with a sense of absolute perfection. One could never ask for more from two dedicated workers, and I highly recommend them without reservation. Geddy stayed in touch constantly before and after, arrived when he said he would and cleaned up far beyond one’s expectations.
