GBPushy sales tactics. Declined Application. Like many others posted before, if you do not accept their very low reserve offer, they will reject your application. They are essentially functioning as a dealer and will move your vehicle far below even a trade-in value. What ever gets them the 4.5% commission. They rejected my 2021 Tesla Model 3 after offering a reserver $10,000 below KBB. The issue is not with their analysis team. Their business model is just like many other action sites. It does not benefit the seller at all. It is meant to push hard for lowest possible reserver to ensure most sales. It would be too much work to re-click and re-post the same unsold car with a lower reserve. It can border line be compared with the unethical standards as home brokers. Marketing your service as special or unique is false advertising.

I managed to get a very good price and since the vehicle had no-reserve, my final bid was a winner. Now that I had a new car, I sent pics and a description of an LS I had to sell. The car was accepted quickly, but the process was a bit long after pics and videos were posted and this is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Vehicle sold to a really nice fellow and the delivery was seamless. Very pleased with C&B. Would consider using again without hesitation.

GBIt's legit! don't let the bad reviews scare you I feel like most of the bad reviews are from people who were trying to sell their cars and got rejected, but understand that it is a site made for auto enthusiasts, not a substitute for craigslist. They only sell the cars they deem fit for their market (auto enthusiasts). I bought a car through this site, and had my doubts at first, but the process was easy (wayyyyyy easier than dealing with a dealership or used car lot) and reliable. Now that I know this is an option, I don't see myself going into a dealership ever again.

GBno buyers fee refund even if seller might be a scammer I bid on a Rolls Royce and won the auction. Then I flew across the country to view the car after winning because I didn't want to wire a large amount to a stranger without first viewing the car/paperwork. There were a lot of red flags so I decided to not finalize the deal. I still had to pay the $4500 buyers fee. Cars & Bids did not care that the deal did not go through. I guess that explains why they have an F with the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, I will not be making my future car purchases with them.

GBHeavy Handed Censorship As a long time bidder AND buyer on car auction sites like C&B, I've found the input and comments from others both entertaining and valuable. However, C&B's ad hoc deletion of some comments makes my opinion of this site dim considerably. In addition to the bidding process, the banter of car enthusiasts is what makes sites like C&B and BAT exciting, fun, and educational. C&B, however, seems to have an unreasonably heavy handed censorship bent on their site. When I questioned their deletion of others benign comments, they then censored my comments, deleted them, and froze my account! Wow, as a mature and seasoned enthusiast, I find their behavior surprisingly immature in this area.
