Ed. The lighting expert with uperior service … There is no lighting expert and service compared to Ed Silveri. No doubt your company has just about any product, but it's the details, of which Ed never misses, that makes the difference. Hope you open a midtown showroom soon. Nothing like a designer able to browse weekly. Def inspired additionall purchases.

There are many top brands on display … There are many top brands on display and made several trips to look at various lights and manufacturers for different rooms. Ended up ordering a ceiling fan which was a big improvement over my existing fan. A light I saw online turns out they didn't have so ordered online. And got ideas when I'm ready to replace light in dining room. Salesperswas friend Lynn and helpful.

As a designer As a designer, I thoroughly enjoy working with David Silverstein. He is so knowledgeable about the products he is selling and i feel totally confident that the order will be delivered without any issues. I do have a problem, however, with Lighting By Gregory's impossible return policy. If I am buying something sight unseen, it is sometimes difficult to assess how the item will look and fit in the space for which it is planned. If Lighting By Gregory had a more cooperative policy for returns or exchanges, I would shop at the showroom more often.

Huh. Special order ??? Received adequate assistance in selecting a light fixture displayed on the floor but not in stock. When paying, I asked return policy and discovered what I was buying was a "special order " and as such not returnable. Crazy that an item featured on the floor is not returnable. I'd understand if it was in a catalog and not on display. Anyway, that argument left me feeling regret about the purchase. Think it's just a bad business practice and should be stopped. While I ultimately was pleased with product I will not return to a store that won't accept returns on items they openly display.

Problem with delivery I purchased a replacement part for my track lighting to replace a burned out part. I was told that the part will be shipped to my building in a week. No one contacted me when the part was not delivered for a long time. I had to inquire about the delivery by going to the store three times. No one helped me for the first two times. I walked away frustrated. I was not able to get a new estimated time of delivery until the third time. The part was finally delivered over a month after the original estimated date. Other than this very poor experience, I consider Gregory a good store with a large inventory of modern light fixtures. But their service needs improvement.
