I'm so happy with my Ryse Smart Shade… I'm so happy with my Ryse Smart Shade and Battery Pack! Upon setting it up, I had a bit of struggles properly lining it up with my blind beads, but after playing around with it, I was able to set it up no problem. You just have to make sure the beads are being pulled taught by the smart shade. One of the best things I've done to upgrade my apartment!

Awesome for your unsmart blinds :) We installed the ryse smart system and we love it. It was fairly easy to install and configure using the app. It required some attention and measuring in order to ensure the device is in the correct location to work properly. So many advantages we are excited about: *a fabulous way to transition your custom made shades into smart shades you can control from your phone *the device is fairly small with sleek design *voice control available if you purchase the bridge *routines available to set up - i.e. you could be awaken by your smart shades or they open/could close at a certain time of the day A few notes and suggestions: * The instructions when it comes to the 3 different position of placement of the device were a little unclear and the hardware provided for plaster walls was not picked out correctly. * There was a small part you have to take out in order to place the chain into the device that had to be replaced back to keep the chain from wobbling - the instructions were clear about removing it, but not about replacing it. * I wish the bridge came with the device, or even better we would love if if it was embedded in the unit.

Worked fine, then broke. My Ryse smart shades worked great for a month then the plastic sprocket cracked. I've messaged customer service for a replacement part and we'll see how quickly this gets resolved and whether the next one lasts longer... So far, it's only been about 24 hours since I messaged customer service. Will update progress as I go. I'm hoping they send me multiple replacements (they can't be that expensive) so I can quickly replace if this happens again. Update 2024-01-18: They said they'd ship me a few replacement parts. I haven't received shipment info yet. Will update... Update 2024-01-20: Got my tracking number. Final Update: Got the parts. They sent a bunch of extra ones which I appreciate. The device is working now. Will update if it breaks again.
