This rug is essentially a faithful replica of a very early type of Turkish rug normally reserved for museum collections, but now available here affordably for home decor. It has an elegant classical Turkish Oushak design, tightly woven from excellent, hand-spun wool with lovely, variegated colors using vegetable dyes. And a very reasonable price point. Very impressive production.
