What a stunning bouquet What a stunning bouquet! As a former florist, I was bowled over by the quality and detail of this exceptional arrangement. Not only were the flowers fresh but the selections were inspired. My friend definitely felt our well wishes by receiving this impressive and flat out gorgeous piece of flora art.

The box says "Emotional Content" I'm the Valentine's Day flower recipient. Really beautiful flowers. Fake tracking. It would have been less torturous if they'd just said "we don't track." End result was a painful, worry filled day for the sender, something I am only gleaning since the sender didn't want to inflict it on me. Worry by evening led him to share the 6 digit "tracking" number they'd given him. He believed it was real. He believed it corresponded to something taking place in reality. At first, I did too. But when I looked it up all I saw was 2-13-24 "scheduled" (marked complete) 2-14-24 "out for delivery" (marked complete) and 2-15-24 "delivered" marked complete, even though it was still Valentine's Day. Fake tracking. The New York Times on my doorstep has more accountability. The tracking is nothing but HTML. It is a Potemkin Village of tracking. By the way, when I clicked on the tracking link it immediately dumped me onto the page that has the receipt for the cost of the flowers. Classy. There is one bit of advertising that's true about these flowers. The box they came in said pithily "Emotional Content." And it was indeed: a bouquet of hope, of worry, of disappointment, sadness, anger, contrition, relief and a little bit of shame.

CHEAP FLOWERS ARRIVED IN BAD STATE THE IMAGES ON THE WEBSITE ARE FALSE ADVERTISING. The flowers arrived wilted and in varying states of dehydration. SOME OF THEM WERE NOT EVEN BLOOMING. I am so mad, Ode à la Rose scammed me out of $200 for the most embarrassing bouquet I have ever seen. This bouquet was supposed to ADORN my mother’s office for her birthday and instead it created an embarrassing spectacle of CHEAPNESS. The flowers came wrapped in the trashiest looking brown paper bag style paper too- this is NOT AT ALL depicted in the website photos. The paper itself looked so crinkled as if the bouquet had just been stuffed into a backpack. PAPER BAGS OF FOOD DELIVERED BY DOORDASH ARRIVE IN BETTER CONDITION THAN THIS ODE À LA ROSE BOUQUET . I actually started crying when my mom texted me the picture, I wish I could include it in this review. To be clear, I don’t have money to be spending on anything short of a spectacular luxury gift for my mom on her birthday. These flowers are so cheap, the presentation was so cheap, my moms birthday has been CHEAPENED by this company. These flowers made my mom look like her daughter has NO TASTE and ALSO no money. It is clear that Ode à la Rose spent their entire company budget on marketing consultant fees, website design, and photography rather than on quality assurance. In my 23 years on this earth I have never felt so disappointed—and frankly, victimized—by a consumer experience so much so as to go out of my way to leave a bad review. I am a normal person. I thought I could go my whole life without having to do this, but Ode à La Rose ruined my day. My mom has nobody else in her life and I failed her today. Worst of all, when I emailed asking for a refund, this manager named Jeff GASLIT ME AND TRIED TO TELL ME THE FLOWERS WERE NORMAL, AND JUST TO CUT THE STEMS AND SEE IF IT HELPED. Have you all no shame !???
