9/10 do recommend Had a bit of trouble with the first order but the second one was amazing!!! Quality is good and color is amazing.

Item never arrived -

An Honest and Trustworthy Silk Maker I always receive amazing customer service and a great product through Village Silk. I've been buying from them monthly for over a year. The product is what they advertise. The silk is made to the original, traditional standard width of silk at 35-36" in width (not the modern widths of 44-45" or 58-60" in fabric widths). When people buy this fabric, please remember they are following the original centuries-old standard for silk fabric widths. Please take this inconsideration when using modern day patterns for a traditional, handmade fabric. The fabric is quality, and the cost is very reasonable and cost effective when comparing to other American fabric retailers. Purchase of this fabric are made from the family of a silk maker who both makes and dyes the silk. When I requested for silk to be dyed, it was completed promptly and done very professionally. It can take 1-2 weeks before the newly dyed silk is shipped. If you have questions for the store owner, would like more info or videos about seeing a new fabric they post, or are interested in a fabric similar to what is posted but in a different color, reach out to them via WhatsApp. I always ask if they have different fabric variations, additional pictures of fabric, videos, and new products (hence why I still purchase from them monthly). I'm always given a response within hours but no later than 48 hours due to time differences, the weekend rush, or holiday hours.
