Stories we haven't heard in years, details almost forgotten... Overall, Story Legacy was a great experience. We gave this as a gift to our mother (my mother-in-law), to not only capture the so many memories she had, but also to provide a way to get us all together to focus on her life experiences. Our mother was a little nervous at first, but the facilitator did an amazing job guiding the conversation and within a few minutes she was comfortable and the stories just flowed. It's so hard to get 'tangible' gifts for folks -- I mean how many vases does one need? Better to get experiences -- especially one that will be fun and unique plus memorialize important family memories ... a twofer! I did a little research into other companies but I went with Story Legacy since they offered a private consultation which made my sister feel like she understood everything. One of the best gifts we have ever… One of the best gifts we have ever received. We shared stories, some of which had never been shared. It created a family bonding and desire to know more. I was worried it might be difficult but it was such an easy experience as our hands were held throughout. A gift of memories. What could be better? It was an entirely wonderful experience.
