GBCONSTANT upselling, borderline unusable If Ultimate Guitar wasn’t such a large repository of guitar tabs, I would NEVER use them. Within the mobile app, they CONSTANTLY bug you to upgrade to something paid. Out of frustration, I upgraded to Pro several years ago, hoping that would stop this. But no, there’s always something new they try to upsell you on. Literally every. single. time I open the app or try to do anything. It makes the app borderline unusable and always infuriating. They do have some nice features with their tabs, but I will not hesitate to ditch Ultimate Guitar the second I can.

GBAbove and beyond the average song tab site Websites of song tabs are common, but libraries of songs vary, and you generally need to be online. I have found the app especially useful as I can easily add songs to my Favourites, which will sync across all my devices with this app on, after which they are available offline. The selection of songs is very good, often with different versions, with maybe easier chords for beginners or ukulele. The ukulele chord shapes it suggests are not always entirely reliable, but there are other resources for those. You can quickly and easily transpose songs into different keys with the tap of a button, so you experiment with your pitch, and it will remember which you used last. There are some functions that don't serve uke players like me, such as Pro-tabs, but will be useful to some guitarists. The metronome is ok but I don't use the tuner so can't comment. I have found this is a great way to have my fave pieces to hand wherever I am and whichever device I have on me, so has been a good investment. Nothing is perfect, or songbook ever complete, but I find something worthwhile most times, and can usually refine from there if I need a more polished version. It's crowd sourced, but It's a good crowd, but quality and layout vary. Ratings can help steer you to the more popular versions. Dedicated 'Uke tabs' are often just the simplest or most popular guitar tab, but the guitar chord tabs can provide a more subtle palate of chords, to help get closer to the original. I hardly look at other sites these days. I suspect some of the 'gaps' are artists protecting their material.

GBSensational Application for Any Musician Almost every rock or pop song ever recorded in on the site. Both the online app and the mobile app allow changing keys. You can build playlists to make practing and performance selection easier. The playlist is shared between online and mobile. They make it easy to submit a new lead sheet or tab. I've been a member for 9 years and still use it every week, or more

GBLots of songs covering from the 50s to date Lots of songs covering from the 1950 to date. Quality of some of the tabs might be low but overall very good especially to Pro written tabs. I like that pro tabs include other instruments, bass, rythum, piano etc. Feature to change key is outstanding as is the simplify feature
