Burn This Night
EE0/5 as an art site, 1/5 as a porn site. I quit DA a couple of years ago after being a member for 11 years, in hopes of returning when they sort out their problems. Unfortunately the site has become even worse in this period. Problem 1: PEDOPHILES. On a few occasions, AI-created nudes of children or outright child porn have appeared on my home screen. The moderators are slow to respond to reports so each time I've also made a report via cybertipline.org. Despite that, the problem persists. Moreover, the site is absolutely crowded with sick individuals who post dirty comments and engage in disgusting public conversations under any images of children no matter how innocent the content itself. Usually these people only favorite two types of content: pornographic or erotic photos and all types of images of young kids. I've taken this issue up with DA via reports, but each time they've failed to react in any proper manner. The site should be used as a 'gold mine' by law enforcement! Problem 2: PORN. Although they claim that porn has no place on DA, they host thousands of hardcore pornographic files at any given moment. In a few of the cases, the porn images are already reviewed by staff and cannot be reported again. They're also very inefficient at blocking porn uploaders for good, as often the exact same obscene images crop up by tens of different accounts, which takes me to the third issue. Problem 3: SPAM. The site appears to have no filters in place to tackle spam automatically, allowing users to spread all kinds of suspicious and harmful links with no restrictions whatsoever. This is of course taken advantage of by crooks on a massive scale. Reporting an account has little effect because by the time it gets taken down, multiple clone accounts spreading the same links are already created, kind of like beheading a hydra. Problem 4: STOLEN CONTENT. This problem is gargantuan on DA. There are probably millions upon millions of images stolen from around the web on that site, with some pirate accounts boasting thousands of stolen images. Pointing this fact out to the staff via reporting the content has no effect at all. To test it, I once reported about 50 gifs by an account that has uploaded 8,2K snippets from random porn videos over a period of 10 years, boasting 12K followers on their account. I provided each report with the explanation that the account only uploads pirated content. Not only did the account remain active with no restrictions, the exact same reported images were also kept untouched. Problem 5: INEQUAL RULES. The staff appears to turn a blind eye to the rule violations of paid Pro/Core accounts, allowing them to upload unacceptable content even when reported. On paper, a paid account doesn't have these privileges, but as ineffective as the reports are on DA, I've found that reports against paid accounts are even more so. I'm not even going to discuss the rest of the problems in detail, like the absolute lack of quality control and a tolerance for the so called 'barely legal' anime drawings. DeviantArt clearly doesn't give a crap about art anymore which is a shame because it was a great safe platform in my developing years as a young artist. I'm sad to say that I would not recommend the site to anyone anymore. Instead, I would suggest that all parents block this sorry mess of a website on the computer of their children to keep them safe from the lurking creeps and criminals who have found a welcoming home on DA.

GBTrash pit cesspool for people who… Trash pit cesspool for people who glorify blatant mass-scale plagiarism and hate artists. They're not on artists' side, they're incredibly greedy. If they wanted more activity on their site, they should've spent money on making it not janky and broken for once, instead of making a glorified plagiarism algorithm while stabbing the backs of their countless users.

GBClogged up with AI rubbish Clogged up with AI rubbish, promotes selling such things for money. It has lost the fun charm it had when I was younger. The stash is useful and community events can be fun for prompts but that's about it.

INDeviantArt Review Been here for about ten months, and DeviantArt has been pretty supportive, and though i've heard a lot of criticism of this eclipse theme, I find it really nice! that's mostly because all the stars and the dark mode, and the stuff, was what got me into DeviantArt in the first place! Oh oh oh and they keep throwing about this little badges and stuff which kinda keeps me excited! (It's been much much more user friendly, and supportive than Fandom wiki, where I deleted my account after less than two weeks due to cyber bullying and terrible admins... Love ya DA!)

IEOfficial company stance is to support Israeli Zionist apartheid Recently launched a frontpage art collection taking a firm stance in support of Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This is a highly nuanced issue, where Israel hold all of the cards and Palestine is left with only bad choices, or extinction. I refuse to partake in support of this site.
