GBGood stuff! Beautiful true B&W prints as usual, speedy delivery, well packaged prints. Even my APS-C Nikon digital files end up looking like the old medium format B&W film I used to shoot; maybe better. I really like the look of the pearl Ilford paper…good stuff. I hope Fromex never goes out of business!

GBThe difference between screen view and… The difference between screen view and finished product-in terms of exposure-is more than I am accustomed to. Typically I brighten about 10-20. Fromex requires about 30. Also, some of the images are actually less sharp than drugstore printing. If you use a true b&w process, I am not sure if you are creating a negative or how you process, but in my mind the images should be a bit sharper.

GBI gave you 5 Stars because I gave you 5 Stars because, not only was it Truly Black & White, it was also within 99% correct to my BENQ monitor while using Lightroom Develop. I have told many people, if your photo does not match your photo in Lightroom Develop then you are just playing a slot machine.

GBReplaced favorite floral b&w (had gone… Replaced favorite floral b&w (had gone blue). Super packaging so that prints arrived true black and white without any way they could have been creased. Immediately replaced and daily enjoying the restored b&w floral beauties.

GBGood service and high quality printing for a just price. Turnaround time was very fast. The image, printed at 10 x 15 on photographic silver gelatin paper from a 35 mm TrI-X negative scanned as a .tif 6200 x 4500 pixels, displayed a full tonal range with almost no grain. Excellent detail in highlights and shadows. Archival quality for $24 door to door is a bargain.
