GBCompufact just ruined a very important… Compufact just ruined a very important job opportunity for me. They’re being paid to get documents from the courts but that was not the case with me. They went and got public records on me instead of contacting the courts for my records and then reported the incorrect information back to the job i had interviewed for. Even though they apologized and are going to do it right this time and contact the courts for the records like they should have to begin with, they cannot undo the damage that has been done. She told me that when courts got closed bc of Covid they had to start getting background checks from public records instead but the courts have been open for over 6 months now so I find that untruthful and unacceptable. The courts told me they had never been contacted for anything from them. These are peoples lives y’all are playing with and should really think about not cutting corners when it comes to someone losing everything over their mistakes or wanting to save money by searching public records instead of paying the courts for the records.
