My father used the Harmar mobility… My father used the Harmar mobility stair chairlift very successfully from age 101 to 104. It helped him each day getting up and downstairs.

My lift works great for me My lift works great for me. No mechanical issues at all. The only problem I've had is with the bottom bushing on the post receiver. The set screw failed and the bushing came out. A little super glue, and a just in case piece of duct tape, and it's all good.

Allowed my husband to remain in his home My husband used the lift for approximately 15 months before he passed away. It enabled him to remain in our home and we were both very thankful for that. I have kept it and use it to transport clothing and other items up and down the stairs. Someday I might need it to transport me.

A lift for me and you I find the lift for my folding wheelchair to be well made and perfect for my chair. It’s not always easy for me to use it as I am an amputee and must rely on a walker when operating the left and loading my chair. This has nothing to do with the lift’s design.

Have had Harmar Highlander VPL since… Have had Harmar Highlander VPL since 2017. The regen computer board has been replaced 3 times and down again with no parts availability. Maybe I got a lemon but I will never purchase another one of there products are recommend them.
