GBI was admitted to Desert Samaritan…St. Joseph's and North Mountain ..... I was admitted to Desert Samaritan Hospital and spent the next four months in two hospitals and also the the last ten weeks at North Mountain Rehab hospital ... recovering from undiagnosed medical problems. ...that finally resulted in a diagnosis of MG....and now taking 21 medicines per day of 12 pills ever since ...... after no pills or hospitailzation in 69 years. I hated being stuck and trapped in a bed from 4 months .. except for brief periods of relief with therapy to walk again three times a week .... after spending my whole time with hoses in my neck, neck, throat, nose and mouth...... as well as also a hole in my chest for feeding. As a result of unknown hospital procedures, medicines, and antibiotics ...I had entire hearing and speech loss for all 4 months of hospitalization .... but North Mountain was very kind and helpful . with magic markers, white erase boards, and good food ... to make my stay tolerable ....even when I was tied down in bed with tubes and hoses early on. FIVE STARS

GBGod is good My wife has been here at North Mountain for more than 2 years. They treat their patients well here and I trust they are always doing the right thing for my wife. The staff are friendly and caring, they always communicate with me when I have questions. God is good and has blessed us with this care.

GBThere are Angels among us There are Angels among us. They work at North Mountain Rehab. Saved my life more than once, made me smile when I did not feel like smiling. Gordon in Physical Therapy .. the whole team ..Physical Therapy, Patient Care, Admin, ..*everyone* kept me going through some very dark times as I recovered, slowly. Even the food was good, although that first Pizza when I got home was to die for. I wish I remembered all the names. I celebrated another milestone a few days ago.. returned the wheelchair as I no longer need it :) Using my way-cool walker when I go out now and free-walking around the house nowadays. God bless you all. (except for that WACKO who shaved my beard!!) -Frank P. 'Gray Eagle' Williamson, retired geezer (GET OFF MY LAWN!!) -grin
