GBI learned a lot at the Center and gained new life skills. I spent 4 weeks at The Center and learned a lot while I was there. The DBT classes were very helpful, as well as classes in Women's Anger, Grief and Loss, and Boundaries. I enjoyed the individual therapy sessions as well. Thank you to everyone who helped me to have a great experience, especially Renee.

GBCooking with clients at The Center Dr. Jantz invited me to come and teach cooking classes at The Center for clients. Working with the clients is a highlight of the week. The staff, therapists, & clients are engaging along with being helpful. Each week clients come to a spectacular kitchen and we work as a team to create balanced meals. One of the important parts of the evening is sitting together to enjoy a meal with no devices. Table conversations involve daily activities, the recipe, and many clients are surprised they cooked. My platform as a nutritionist is showing that a balanced meal can be fun, simple, and relaxing.

GBDifficult but definitely worth it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is seriously struggling with mental illnesses of most any kind. It was one of the hardest thing I've ever chosen to do and it was absolutely worth it. I learned things there that have helped me control worry, anxiety, and especially depression far better than anything else. The only caveat is that if you choose to live in one of their free (and pretty nice, as I understand) housing units, they are very controlling. They restrict what you're allowed to bring and will actually take electronics from you for a week or more. Appallingly, the admissions team will lie constantly during the intake process about the rules for their housing units in order for them to seem less unreasonable. Despite this, I strongly recommend this place, especially if you decide to live away from their housing units.

GBComplete Failure My husband is currently in another treatment facility because this place completely failed him. He confessed he drank the entire time he was there. He had too much freedom to come and go as he pleased in the evenings and on weekends. He obviously was not tested regularly for alcohol consumption. Very disappointed.

GBThe Center A Place of Hope The Center A Place of Hope, Dr. Jantz has really created a gem way up here in the upper left. The program itself is very helpful, the holistic approach is brilliant. It’s the people though, the group of professionals that operate this great place on a daily basis are what makes The Center such a wonderful experience.
