Prompt Service After surgery I needed full-length compression stockings, which I purchased at my Dr.'s office. I dreaded the very though of having to wear these for three weeks 24/7, especially when daytime temperatures were around 100 F. The 20-30 mmHg Sigvaris hose (open toe) were surprisingly comfortable although difficult to put on even with the supplied foot sleeve. A very nice feature was the rubber-backed elastic band at the top of the hose, which did not curl up.

Stockings that put pressure on my ankle make my foot go to sleep and also cause swelling above and below my ankle. These stockings put gentle pressure on my foot and really help with swelling, especially when I can not elevate my foot.
