About Passages Malibu

Inside the magnificent grounds at Passages, you’ll find the most comprehensive and sophisticated treatment program in the world. When founders Chris and Pax Prentiss created this program in 2001, they began with one goal in mind — to create the world’s finest team of treatment professionals. Your team will be comprised of nurses, psychologists, family therapists, trainers, acupuncturists, hypnotherapists, spiritual counselors, and many others, ensuring your complete satisfaction from the day you check in until the day you graduate from our world-class drug rehab center. We offer a strong focus on one-on-one therapy, and we do not use the 12 Step program. When you check into Passages you will be assigned your own ten-person team of therapists. Many treatment centers claim to offer what we provide, but it’s not true, their program is made up of almost all group meetings with very little one-on-one therapy.

Passages is truly a blessing and the… Passages is truly a blessing and the work they did with my daughter literally saved her life and has brought untold blessing to our family. The entire staff shares a level of caring and compassion that has to be experienced to be truly understood. Their reputation is well deserved.

Passages Ventura I flew from Oklahoma to California to go to Passages and I'm so glad I did! It was the most pleasant experience you can have going to a rehab. They make you feel so welcome and care for you as best as possible from the nurses to the cooks(who make excellent food) to continuing care (Amber McCullough is the best and very helpful) and the rest of the staff! Calling and going to Passages was one of the best choices I have made in my life, they will get your life back on track to have a bright future!! Thanks to all at Passages!!

passages A+ I've been to many rehabs, IOPs, and treatment centers but coming to passages really hit home with me. The staff provides great care an are dedicated to the clients with full hearted honestly an will go out of their way to make you comfortable and at the same time provide the MOST therapy to help heal the child within. For once in my life I'm looking forward to the future! If you're ready an want to be sober I suggest passages. It's just amazing.

Thank You Passages Choosing Passages was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. I am 39 years young and had been using drugs and alcohol for 20 of those years. I had been to several other programs, all 12 step, prior to coming to passages, none of them worked for me. Passages was different, it isn't a one size fits all. It is a such an uplifting experience, they focused on the good in me instead of the negative part. They helped me find a path of opportunity in life. With the help of everyone from their therapists and counsellors to the client supervisors, I was able to walk away addiction free and am really living life for the first time in my adult life. I am so grateful for everyone at Passages, I cant thank them enough. Create change and stay committed, Daniel Bruce

The worst place possible The worst place possible. My 1st night there I did not get my meds because they forgot. That a common theme. Nurses at malibu seem bothered when they have to do there job, not all theres 2-3 good ones. There is no 24hr DR. You see doc once a week if lucky and if you really beg you can get your meds filled. Which now unless it's a controlled substance you uber yourself to get em. I went in on 1 med came out on literally 10meds. Food is good, that's honestly all I can say positive. Place is showing its age. Literally falling apart. They sold one therapy center and are selling one of the sober houses. I do not recommend this place due to the fact everytime I needed meds I had to literally give a week notice, then pretty much do all follow up myself to get it filled. They forget everything all day long. I was in the sober house too. 20client house with 1 worker on shift most of time. If you need something you get an uber. Hippa violations like crazy. There were 2 med sheets left right on a desk where I was taking my meds fully open to read. Shop around you can do much better than this for 80k a month. Actually they kick u out at 28 days for faster rotation.
