GBTalkiatry is over billing everyone and… Talkiatry is over billing everyone and assuming that no one will look at their bills. Talked to someone from talkiatry as an intro, the psychiatrist listened to me and took down my history and it was an intake call. Talkiatry charged me for that session (which is very expensive by the way - 1.5x more than what I pay for Alma...please do check out Alma, they are amazing), but also charged me $96 for a follow up visit, when i never scheduled a second session. They later tried to pass this up as the doctor talked to me about medication and behavioral therapy that would help me, but the doctor never did that. They are falsefully trying to inflate the bill. This is absolutely wrong. No one should be paying extra charges because Talkiatry falsefully is adding fraudulent charges and phantom charges on the bill. Would give them less that 1 if available

GBbilling issues and poor cust service Loved my therapist but then my insurance quit covering talkiatry. I'm guessing too many complaints. Why 1 star? Customer service, billing, and communication issues. When my insurance changed I tired to confirm if they still took BCBS. Every time I talk to someone it's a different story. I've sent my insurance cards 3 times now. Then I get another email asking for my card again. Billing issue: when I first started using them last year it took them mos to get my ins straightened out and they kept trying to bill me an outrageous amount. Biggest issue, it is impossible to speak to anyone at this company that knows anything. OHHH and, my provider was out of state so I had ongoing issues with walgreens refusing to fill my script from an out of state provider. Huge issue!

GBIgnore (most) of the bad reviews- Talkietry is great Take these bad reviews with a grain of salt. the people who write reviews typically are the people who have bad experiences; you hear almost nothing about the good ones. I never had a billing issue, never got hassled, I had a very simple conversation up front about my health insurance plan to be sure it was covered. It's always been correct... I had 3 bad doctors before using Talkietry. Right away, I did research, found a doctor with good reviews, and now it's been a great experience. He happens to be on Talkietry. The app works, never had the video break, he's always on time, scheduling is a breeze. The patient portal is simple, sending messages - easy. My doctor replies right away, he sends scripts promptly and more importantly CORRECTLY. I had like one issue and he fixed it in like 4 hours. Advice: do your research on the DOCTOR, not the platform. The platform works just fine, pretty good actually. Before you go to your appointment, make sure your insurance company covers it. That's it.

GBNightmare I heard good things. My experience was not. I was in desperate need of medication management. There were many psychiatric professionals to choose from that accepted my insurance. Long story short, after 5 cancelations of not being a "good fit" in other words, I wasn't in the right age group. Too old, I finally got an appointment. It was a month away but, better than nothing. I had already been waiting 2months. One week before my appointment, I received a text of cancelation because the doctor no longer accepts my insurance. After many tears of frustration, I went through MDLIVE. I got an appointment the next day. They list Talkiatry in the top 10, I don't think so. I give it a minus 10

GBFraudulent billing. $633 for 1 session. Read fine print This company just charged me $633 dollars for a 1st session with a psychiatrist. In what world is this normal? They noted "additional supportive therapy" charges that accounted for some 50% of the bill. I was not aware of any of these charges as the person just asked normal intake questions. And by the way, the service and psychiatrist were average at best.
