GBSophisticated business owners, and we still learned a lot I co-own a small marketing and communications agency. We tried out Baton -- we probably want to sell the business eventually, but not yet. We were curious about our valuation today, though. I consider us pretty sophisticated business owners. We have owned P&Ls at Fortune 500 companies and led big teams in high-growth companies for years before starting our agency. We also have a business consultant. Still, Baton gave us new and incredibly helpful information. It is great to know for the future, when we want to sell, but in the meantime they are giving us tools to run our business more efficiently and at a higher profit. The valuation process was super simple - I provided them access to my financials, filled out a quick survey, and was then given my valuation. I spoke to a Baton advisor, and they walked me through my valuation and shared what I could do to improve that over time. While I'm not necessarily looking to sell my business right now, it has changed how I think about my growth, so I'll be more ready to sell someday in the future.

FRI cannot recommend the working with the… I cannot recommend the working with the team enough to sell your business! I was trying to sell my business by myself on another listing site without much success - we got a bunch of unqualified leads and it was more of a distraction than anything. The Baton team took over all of the aspects of selling the business from putting together spot-on marketing materials to closing the deal. It was great because I got to focus on continuing to operate my company and talking to extremely qualified buyers that they sourced from anywhere they could… it felt like they were all personally committed to my success. We ended up with three offers, Baton supported on the negotiations, and then even hand-held the buyer to qualify for financing. Now I'm on to my next chapter in life!
