I didn’t really have reason to believe the mri would show anything substantive to explain problems I’ve been having, but I wanted to get one done at least to rule possibilities out. It was a lot faster, less headache, and probably cheaper than to go to a doctor at a clinic and try to explain I want to get the mri done at least for peace of mind and to rule things out.

Outrageous I have been sick for over five months and requested to do a pet scan after numerous trips to various doctors. I was notified this morning that my pet scan had been canceled due to, “There was a significant cost increase in the exam. The cost will be over $2000, we won't be offering the exam for the time being. We do apologize for the inconvenience”. This is completely unacceptable as I had already booked the exam. This should not be acceptable.
