About Core Balance Training

Dedicated to reversing the causes of lower back pain, Core Balance Training is an online program that uses core activation and movement retraining to help people improve posture and escape the back pain cycle. Students first learn how to activate the spinal support muscles of their deep core by connecting to their 'Core Anchors', then how to apply that connection to movement. Students are guided through a system of core-based movement, resulting in a healthy core connection and supported spine in activities of daily life. Core Balance Training was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ryan Peebles, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has committed over 20 years to better understanding and reversing the root causes of chronic lower back pain. After overcoming his personal struggles with back problems, Dr. Ryan now guides others to get out of pain. The 12-week program can be completed by all ages and fitness levels. It begins with simple core-based movements, progressing to functional and complex movements over a 3 month period. All movements become healthy for the spine, allowing students to return to higher level activities, such as fitness and sport without pain. Other outcomes are improved function and reduced or eliminated lower back pain. Because the solution focuses on education and movement retraining, the results of Core Balance Training are typically lifelong.

I love this program I love this program! It’s well designed to help me follow the lessons everyday, which made it easier for me to commit to the exercise consistently at my own pace. I also learned a lot from their weekly live lessons & Q&A. I feel so much more in control of my back pain, both physically and mentally. So glad I found this program!

Excellent program Excellent program! If your looking to be pain free from low back pain or SI Joint pain this is the program for you. Dr. Ryan teaches how to use your core as your center of power while having focused breathing. Incredibly happy to be on a path of healthy movement from Core Balance Training.

Dr Ryan's CBT Program works Dr Ryan's CBT Program works! It relieved alot of my back pain fairly quick into the program, and kept me from having back surgery. In the program Dr Ryan teaches you body awareness, core control and how to use you body properly. He has put alot of time into the program. He and his team are professional, caring, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. It was the best money I have ever spent. I love the program it gave me my life back.

Do-able! Ryan's training has helped me recover from a back injury from a fall. I had been gradually improving, doing exercises. This helped me to better strengthen and balance core muscles, slowing down and using deeper core muscles. So many programs instruct to do so many reps and movements I was not capable of, this approach was do-able! Thank you!

Great program. I had become discouraged about my back pain. My MRI diagnosis contained the words "severe" over and over again. I did not want to try surgery, and the last time I had a joint injection they hit a nerve because the space had grown too narrow. By connecting to my "anchors" as per this program, I immediately felt relief. It was empowering to affect the change myself. I continue to make the time each day and I'm stronger, more mobile and I'm not done. I also love that he has you "do less" when you need to! Less is still a step forward toward core strength, balance, and mobility.
