Great deal all around It’s a pretty great selection of different food items at reasonable prices. Eating out for lunch in the city can be expensive, but meal-prepping every day is tiring as well. MealPal allows me to do a little bit of both for almost the same price as prepping every day.

I got scammed too I got scammed too. Mealpal used the pandemic to their advantage. In true scumbag exploitative fashion, in moment of crisis, they decide to deactivate and wipe out unused meals and plans, and charge for new plan, without any advance notice! When I wrote them to ask about it, they said it's in the terms and conditions. Way to go Mealpal. Send endless promotional emails to get new business when times are good, but secretly deactivate plans when times are bad. Couldn't even send one warning email to customers to spend down or cancel plan to avoid losing meals or undue charges. Disgusting!

Bad UX, dark patterns, not worth the cost Not only are the restaurants you get access to limited, along with the food options (mostly chicken), they charge your account without letting you know for months and refuse a refund. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars to this passive subscription. A terrible company with dark patterns all over their UX. Steer clear and avoid at all costs!

MealPal is a fantastic way to save money on a necessary expense MealPal is a fantastic way to save on a huge monthly expense: lunch. I work in New York City, where it's easy to spend $12-15/day on a salad. By signing up for MealPal, I was able to cut my per meal expenses in half. And with such a wide variety of participating restaurants nearby, I haven't had to sacrifice on healthiness, portion size, or variety. I highly recommend!

SCAMMERS !!! SCAMMERS !!!! On March 21, 2024 I signed up with MealPal, same day I was charged $2.17 for membership/subscription. I never placed an order/reservation with MealPal. Today my bank shows charge as “ATM Debit MealPal $71.86” I called my bank to dispute it. I’ll never use this service.
