Needs better packaging Needs better packaging. The process of ordering was easy and there seemed to be a good variety of options and the shipping charges were very reasonable. The problem was the packaging... it wasn't very insulated and 5 packages of bacon were kept cool with two small ice packs -- which, not surprisingly, were complete melted upon arrival and the bacon was all room temperature. I had no idea if the bacon was shipped frozen and had completely thawed or if it was shipped fresh and I would be able to freeze for later use. There was nothing in the package about how it was shipped and whether I could freeze (or refreeze) it safely.

Bought this as a gift Bought this as a gift, bacon as a gift... HECK YEA? The ordering, tracking, confirmation and insanely quick delivery was almost therapeutic it was so easy. Can't wait till I order some for myself; and, yes, the recipient couldn't believe bacon could taste like that.

Very satisfied I ordered a subscription and the first installment was delivered within 4 days. In comparison to prices on other sites, Bacon Freak was definitly a better deal, as it gives you two packages of bacon per month. With the subscription, we also got a free bacon spice and t shirt, which was a nice little perk.

Great customer service with issues I ordered a few items for some upcoming birthdays ... when I received the order there was one item missing and the Bacon Freak Gift box was also left out. I left a message, last evening(Thurs) and this morning Christa called back to advise she'd have the items out on Monday! Gracious and direct, really appreciated ... Not to mention fabulous products - think we've converted quite a few friends & acquaintances to the bacon salt & bit recipes we've served through our catering business!

Great Experience! My credit card got messed up during the transaction (capital one's fault) and I ended up almost purchasing 120 lbs of bacon!! Thankfully, the woman I spoke with at the bacon freak office was so helpful and kind, and the situation was resolved quickly. My husband is currently enjoying his bacon a lot! It arrived quickly and is great quality meat!
