In the past, I have noticed distinct variations in this noble coffee, not only due to sourcing issues, but most importantly from inattentive roasting; never from OCB. Their past offerings have been consistently very good to excellent. Pete and his crew nailed this one. The temperature and duration of the roast were perfectly executed, the result truly exceptional. They're a pleasure to work with, prompt and personable in response to queries/special requests or problems. After ordering from them for several years, we stopped in order to buy fair trade coffee elsewhere. Then, we returned when they added FTO offerings. They even responded to our and other requests for an FTO espresso blend for our morning blast. Our only complaint is that, although we really like the FTO espresso blend, it's not as rich and robust as the raging bull we ordered previously.
