GBthey send more chocolates you don't want and won't refund the charge I ordered a trial of this company's chocolates with an offer from the Gourmet Society. It clearly stated they wouldn't send more until I provided feedback. I didn't provide feedback yet today another box of chocolates arrived in the post. I called to advise I didn't want them and was basically told "tough". They now say I needed to advise them I didn't want them but this was not the information I received as it was a flyer that came with my Gourmet Society membership. Not happy that they swindle people this way - its not a good way to achieve ongoing business. I will find a different company to purchase chocolate from in future.

GBScam artists Beware, the website says when you order a box you can 'decide' whether to join their tasting club. What they don't say is that they decide for you, you won't know until they send you another box and charge you £20 for the privilege which they refuse to refund. Absolute scam artists, won't be using them again.

GBRip off Ordered these chocolates through wowcher. They were a gift and thought what a fab price. Had to order directly from site instead of through wowcher. Chocs arrived but unfortunately were not to my taste - however, everyone has different tastes. Was quite happy to leave it at that. However, today when I logged into my bank it had been debited by £19.99 from Cocoa Boutique. When I phoned to query this I was told I had signed up for a monthly delivery (which is totally untrue). I am currently awaiting a manager phoning me back as they refuse to refund my money and refuse to take back the chocolates (which I still haven't received!). Totally disgusted and would strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

GBGood but with room for improvement Whilst the flavours I have tried in three different boxes are nice, on the whole they are quite mundane and have been done in countless boxes of high street chocolates. For true chocolate aficionados there is certainly a lack of dark chocolate as well. The customer service team have been exemplary in my dealings with them and I think it's brilliant how the boxes are made to fit through your letter box. I'll wait to see what the next one or two boxes contain but unless there are more adventurous flavour combinations I will stop my membership as it would not be worth the cost in my case.

GBDislike this company Chocolates are overpriced. Good but not that good compared to what you can get elsewhere. Cocoa Boutique appear to gain customers via getting them to sign up for free or discounted chocolates. In small print this means they are then a member and will receive (often unexpected) boxes at full price thereafter. Although you must give permission and submit payment details, the lack of clarity and the small window in which you can then cancel membership, means that you are likely to be hoodwinked into overpriced chocolates you don't want at a later date. If you are vigilant and cancel membership after the discounted box, it is worth it. For the majority of us who forget and/or don't read the small print, it is not worth it. There is a guarantee to be refunded if you are not satisfied. This has not been true for myself or others. Don't believe it! Because I dislike the tactics and strategy used to gain customers, I will not buy from them again.
