GBNot worth the hassle - potentially either incompetent or predatory I signed up for Giftory to place an order for two AMC movie tickets. My order was accepted, confirmed via email, and invoiced. Two days later, they canceled my order and said my refund could take up to 10 days to process. They indicated the order didn't adhere to the terms of their promo, which, if that were the case, why was it able to be applied to the order? There could be more, but I see two possibilities: 1) They could have incorrectly coded their promo code. 2) They could have intentionally allowed the promo code to be applied, with the intent of generating new user accounts and gathering contact info. Regardless of reasoning, it is in my opinion, a despicable business practice to accept, fulfill, and invoice an order, then reverse course and withhold payment for up to 10 days. I will not do business with this company again, and I'd encourage you to do the same.
