About Candle House Collective

Widely considered the pioneers of the remote immersive movement, Candle House Collective creates theatre experiences that put audience members – often one at a time – at the heart of the story. Surreal, psycho-dramatic, and heartfelt, Candle House Collective’s deeply interactive performances plunge audiences worldwide into high-agency encounters. Our signature remote shows can be experienced from the comfort of your own home, and taking part is usually as simple as picking up your mobile phone. Called “the Twilight Zone of immersive theatre,” we have been featured in The New York Times, Vulture, Broadway World, and Thrillist, and have been internationally recognized by festivals like IndieCade, FIVARS, and Denver Film.

Can’t describe how amazing CLAWS is! CLAWS was too good for words! The acting was phenomenal and I so wish I could buy more tickets to relive the experience. 40 minutes may not seem like a lot of time but I’ve been rethinking the play (and my actions) ever since. Thank you to everyone involved for such an awesome time!

My Second Claws Experience Claws was a very good show. I really enjoyed the high level of interaction. The story was very interesting and left me asking a lot of questions about who was who. I will definitely be attending again. I highly recommend Candle House Collective. Thank you to Candle House Collective!

This experience is one I'd love to do… This experience is one I'd love to do again! Would recommend it to anyone who wants that last push! The experience is personal and left me thinking about it to this day even and the actor did an amazing job!

Immersive, unique, and well worth your time Claws was such an incredibly immersive experience. I felt nervous coming into it. I didn't know what to expect from individual interactive theater. But they really bring you right into the scenario. An hour went by and I had no idea. I kept trying to talk after the call stopped at the end. They really make it so your choices affect the story, and Joel (the actor) did an incredible job bringing things we talked about into the setting. I also really appreciated the way they executed the preparation. They make sure you're prepared to take the call, and take the safety of everyone involved seriously. Such a unique way to experience theater! I will be keeping a lookout for future performances!

The whole thing was kind of meh The whole thing was kind of meh, in terms of writing and concept. The actor was good enough with what he had to work with, but at a certain point I realized he needed me to take my role in a different direction in order to get back on the scripted story path.
