We were soooo excited for this box to… We were soooo excited for this box to arrive. Really really wanted to like it. However, the materials used are cheap cheap. I'm pretty sure we are missing pieces, they're not here. The value of items in this box is around $7.00 at best. My son is hugely into science, this kit bored him to tears. He lost all interest in it. After reading the same kind of reviews from other parents, I realize we arent the only ones dissatisfied. This is extremely disappointing. I'm not wasting anymore money. Amazon is involved in this box...guess I shouldn't be surprised by it's quality. Or lack there of. I know these are geared towards kids...but when my 8yr old even called it junk, it's junk. (And he loves collecting junk!)

Trouble with Customer Service for Lackluster Product I had a delay in shipping my child's subscription and contacted customer service. There was no number to call so I contacted through Facebook, instagram, and their website. It took DAYS for them to respond only to tell me everything was delayed. I was really bothered that the company didn't reach out with that information when it was a sitewide thing. My child was waiting daily(for a couple months) with anticipation for this kit that was lackluster at best. The functions are remedial and my child lost interest quickly after the intial set up. In my opinion, it was not as advertised in quality or scope of interest.

My son is 5 and absolutely LOVES THESE… My son is 5 and absolutely LOVES THESE KITS! He is so excited to learn about career fields that he can go into when he grows up. We spend hours on these kits because he is just so excited to learn in this hands on way. I love all the information that comes with the booklet and the supplies are perfect!

My 6 year old son loved this kit! My 6 year old son loved this kit! It was a super fun and educational project on a rainy day. The directions to each little project also had educational facts about your health and being a doctor, dentist, etc. He especially loved listening to our heartbeats and making an arm splint. We loved this kit and highly recommend it. My son even said he wanted to be a doctor when he grows up because he knows what to do now!

Signed up to get ripped off I was once an ardent supporter or Oyster Kit, even play-tested kits and recruited friends to do so as well. Unfortunately, after paying for 2 years of kits (12 kits per year), I have only received about 14 out of 24 kits. I reached out to customer service to see which kits I was missing on July 15th. I received a response on August 3rd saying they were reaching out to their Logistics team. It's now October 3rd and I still haven't heard back.
