Long hikes with a 4 year old The Piggyback Rider has made a world of difference when hiking with my 4 year old. It allows us to go on longer hikes where she can get off and on easily when she gets tired. I highly recommend getting the hip belt attachment. It really helped to distribute my child’s weight evenly across my shoulders and hips. The customer service is also spot on. They respond quickly and will help you get what you need. The packaging says 50lb limit, but it seemed to hold my 115lb wife with zero issues as well! The real surprise was how much stress this takes off the rest of your body. It genuinely does displace the weight evenly to make carrying effortless. Also super easy to use and comfortable to wear.
