GBAmiga 4000 Rework I sent my Amiga 4000 boards to Paul for some rework in 2018. After discussing his recommendations, I had him replace the SIMM and ROM sockets and swap out some aftermarket ceramic caps for polymers. The work took some time, mostly because he had to attend to his day job, but Paul was up front about this from the beginning and provided status updates along the way. (And let's face it, rehabbing an old Amiga is not something you need done in a hurry.) My boards came back in top-notch shape, ready for the next 25 years. All the solder joints look neat and professional. Thanks, Paul!

GBAmiga 1000 recapped Had my Amiga 1000 recapped. Excellent communications before, during and after the project. Board looks very nice after and high quality caps. Solder points are very nice and uniform. No extra solder blobs hanging around. All very nice. Looking forward to the next 30+years with it. I'll be sending all my other Amiga's to get recapped also!!

GBGreat service and quality work! Paul recapped my Amiga 1200 and I couldn’t be happier. He communicated about the status all along the way, turned the project around quickly and my A1200 is back together, good as new. I’m so glad he uses his talents to help preserve such an essential part of computing history. I plan to use his services again for my CD-32.

GBOutstanding Service I rarely give five star reviews because it seems there is always room for improvement but that is not the case with Paul Rezendes and Acill Classic Computer and Consoles. As a Customer: I sent Paul an A1200 motherboard I’d just purchased to be recapped and an overall health check. I included the floppy drive I thought might have failed and questioned whether the HD IDE interface was working. Paul recapped the system with premium capacitors; validated the floppy drive was bad; and checked and cleaned the system in maybe four or five hours and made a trip to the Post Office that same night (~10:30PM) for return shipping! HOLY COW! Who does that?!?! He even included a brand new floppy drive and SD card adapter at a serious discount. This is outstanding service! As an Adviser: I am an absolute newbie to the Amiga system and Paul has been a wealth of answers, advice, and recommendations. He exemplifies the motto “there are no dumb questions”. He’s active in the Amiga Facebook group and available when I need him online. It is people like Paul who give this community a good name.
