GBJust a click-farm affiliate link mess As so many others have stated, this site is now effectively worthless. It has become a click-farm for affiliate links. You will the same handful of sites reposted with "deals" day after day. I'm a newer user of the site/app and after months of reading deals being posted it's clear this is a complete waste of time. If this site was ever good, that time has long past and after corporate overlords and likely new management took over it's just a advertising platform now.

BOUser comments on deals are what make this site invaluable What makes slickdeals so good to use to find the best prices are the comment sections where fellow users share their opinions on the different offers, products, and prices. This allows you to really see if you are getting the best deal and even some comparisons of competitive products and pricing trends.

GBSlickdeals posts are no longer slick deals. Slickdeals was bought out by Goldman Sachs in June 2018, and it's been barely worth visiting since then. Most posts now are either made by Slickdeals employees, or else by members that get paid in one way or another, and only for stores that pay Slickdeals a cut (mainly Amazon), so posts to "hot deal" are rarely hot deals anymore.

GBSo unprofessional! Like so many others posting here, I've been a SD member for over 15 years, posting very rarely, mostly checking stuff out and trying to be helpful to others....then suddenly out of the blue, they banned my account. No explanations, no warning, nothing...and I haven't posted anything for weeks. Emailed asking why they did this, but looks like they aren't going to bother to reply Well Screw them

GBI love the site I love the site - been using it for a few years, now. Just watch, it can get addictive. While tech/electronics and tool related deals are some of the most common deals, there are also deals in kitchen/garden/auto/pet etc, etc. You'll sometimes find discount codes on deals that you may not find anywhere else. So, it's definitely worth not only visiting the site using your browser - but get the app, as well. It makes deal monitoring much quicker and easier - just be careful, as it can get addictive... at least that's what I've heard. ;)
