Have to put up with too much stupid stuff. Recording is fine, the length is a minimal issue, but the fact that it is so inconsistent in whether it is going to record or not is stupid. Sometimes the app opens when I start up the computer, and it is ready to save clips, other times it can be open for hours and be glitched the entire time, with no visual indicators. It is really obnoxious to use, especially because it apparently causes horrible lag if you try to save a clip when it IS bugged?? I think that there should be some way to actually know if Medal is still "running in the background" instead of it saying it once and breaking.

Highly Customizable, powerful, and well maintained The app is by-far the most advanced and customizable clipping service. The stable version is almost bugless and when you have an issue, the staff are very social and will assist you however possible. If you use this, please join their discord and open a ticket for your issues. Heavily maintained and the best developers I've met. Oh, just to bring out my fanboy review, they also losten very well to feedback and tend to implement a ton of features and changes we recommend to them. Been contributing to MRG and the EA server for awhile and seen a ton of my suggestions implemented over that time. I recommend everyone give this a try and tinker, its very powerful and worth investing time in, and if you need any help, don't be afraid to ask the community.

Lost almost all my clips Lost almost all my clips. TWICE. They literally have 2 jobs, take the clip and store the clip. Yet somehow on multiple occasions now all my memories have just vanished and are unrecoverable. If you want to lose your clips these guys are the way to go but if you are like me and want to actually hold onto them then please do yourself a favor and never get this terrible platform and if you have friends that use it advise them to stop.

Best application for clipping gameplay imo I've been using Medal for more than 3 years now. It is a bit buggy now and again, but the support team are more than willing to help and any problems get resolved very quickly. It allows you to clip games, it has it's own free editor, you can have groups with up to 150 people for voice calls and messaging, and it allows you to upload and share your clips with a growing community. It really is the complete package for creating and sharing gameplay clips.
