GBDisregard negative reviews for those who want something for nothing If you're into electronic music, this has you covered. Can't be bothered with ads, so premium is the only way to go. Great service going on 8 years now

GBI'm just here to write a 5-star review… I'm just here to write a 5-star review for this website because I can't believe it only has 2.8 at the moment. I've listened to di.fm for about 5 years now. For a little while there were some problems with it telling me to disable adblock, even after I'd already disabled it, but that problem is now fixed. I see some reviews are complaining about too many ads... well that's nonsense. The music is basically non-stop. Every now and again there's a longish stream of ads, for maybe 2-3 minutes, but it's nowhere near as bad as people say. It's literally about 30 minutes of non-stop music at a time, for free! What's the big deal!? The selection of music is excellent too. I never thought there would be radio streaming available for some of the genres on di.fm. It seems to be growing too. Great service anyway, whether you're listening to the free or premium version. Upate: Reduced to 4 stars for the brazen spam advert reply I just got below.

CAItunes subscription keeps dropping Ive been with DIFM for a few years. I subscribed through Itunes for the premium service. However over the last year the account would drop off premium every month. I would write an email and they would reinstate the service. Each time asking me to drop the Itunes subscription in favor of the direct CC billing. I eventually told them I was cancelling due to regularly opening the app to ads when I was a paid premium member and the response was " great to hear your cancelling!" "please consider direct billing in future"... I will say they have been responsive and apart from very little updates in the Ambient / chill stations, its high quality streams and is on Carplay.

GBFinally went premium on a 30 day test… Finally went premium on a 30 day test drive just to see if the app improved or the interface lag. Nope, still cannot download for off WiFi listening like you can with almost every other platforms. The horrible lag time when selecting your choosen artist or podcast such as Universal Nation by Alex MORPH are still present, you click the listing and nothing happens, you click again thinking it hasn't registered my click, nothing happens again and again a few more times before eventually something happens, then more app lag as it loads the many other shows for this podcast artist, it's like the DB server needs optimization or more CPU/RAM allocation....still no option to fast forward thru tracks, when you come out and go back in again it feels like it has never seen you before and started from the beginning. Spotify has these points down to a tee....I want the platform to remember where I was in the same podcast. I want to be able to download, I want no application lag. Will be ending my premium trial once this over. Shame as I love Future sound of Egypt and Alex Morph, they need to jump ship to Spotify ASAP or lose listeners unless this app improves.
