GBWhile I dislike the idea of… While I dislike the idea of subscription-based software, I can’t ignore the fact that developers need regular income just like I do. I’ve always loved the quality and utility of much of Softorino’s software (WALTR, SYC). I can wish for “perpetual” software licenses all I want, but once I came to terms with the fact that just like hardware, software can’t last forever, then I feel the only questions that remain are cost and quality. I choose quality.

GBCan see what people mean by greedy… Can see what people mean by greedy company now, wanted to change colours of folders, downloaded app that looked like it was free, let me change 1 folder before demanding $35 for a 1 year sub.... If it was a reasonable price and non subscriptive. I would have considered. downloaded a free version instead.

GBOutstanding products and customer service Anytime I deal with this group of geniuses (I mean that literally) I come away amazed at not only their products but their customer service. The attention to detail and the promptness when responding to questions is exceptional. Steady solid service is rare in today's world. I've enjoyed the product(s) for several years and will do so for a long time to come as they operate ahead of the curve.

GBThey have an app called SYC2 which lets… They have an app called SYC2 which lets you download video files but then they crippled it so it doesn't work on Youtube. Softorino refuses to fix the app even though they say it is fixed in their subscription model. Then they cancelled the SYC2 app to pressure you to go to their subscription model.

GBSoftorino's YouTube converter is amazing Softorino's YouTube converter is an amazing tool for sharing YouTube material in lectures. Super simple interface and near instant downloads. The tool is very easy to use, yet powerful in its options. Interface is very user friendly. One of my favorite tools for lecture prep!
