BRFast development using Inherited Reports I choose fastReport, mostly because of it's Delphi-Forms like inheritance reports. This, really is a enhance in fast production reports; Some embeded components, are also really productive, like tables , pictures and parameters features are very easy and comprehensive.

AUMuch better than our old report writer We had used the default report writer that came with Delphi many years ago, and it was slow, clunky, and bulky. Moving to FastReport, even though we had to pay for that, was a great move. Much better integration with our code, all compiled right into the exe so there were no deployment issues, and a quite nice integrated designer. We never came across a reporting need which it couldn't handle.

IDFast Report NET I use Fast Report for NET and I use it with Data Transfer Object. Nice report tools especially the inherits report, so we can have standard header or footer report and if we change the standard just change the base report.

ZABlazor I have been developing systems for about 30 years now and come from a Turbo Pascal/Delphi background. I started using MS Access version 1 in about 1993, then went on to VB.NET. I found VB.NET very cumbersome and not a very nice user experience. I am currently using Blazor to develop the front-end and needed a reporting tool. FastReports is very familiar and works with Blazor perfectly. This combination of Blazor/FastReports is definitely my main tools going forward. I can highly recommend this combination.

ZAI have used Fast Report for years now I have used Fast Report for years now. I migrated from another report writing platform (Rave) a long time ago. I find Fast report really flexible and I have done really interesting stuff. A lot my reports use colour coded results as this makes the bad results stand out. Many of my report are dynamic and follow user input. A user can set the results parameters they want to see on the report. Then the report prints the report with colour coded results in a grid format. This allows the user to get want is needed to their client in terms of rich "heat mapped" data which assists asset owners to make informed decisions. The other very important feature that I have used is the rich text field in which I have embedded graphics and highlighted text. This makes the application hit with the user. Fast Reports is easy to use and has the ability to be used at a high level, but also get down to building very dynamic reports that follow data rather than been fixed and static. Being able to build reports in code is my favorite.
