Just finished my training and certification I have just finished my training and am now certified. I used Dr Weatherby's textbooks in university. Therefore, if I was going to do a course on blood test analysis, this is where I was going to go. I put off paying for the training for a while, but eventually bought the software and am so happy I did. Then I decided to take the plunge and do the course and certification. While I need to revise my notes from time to time, I can now look and at a blood test and see some of the patterns. Most conventional doctors have no idea about patterns, but this is the area I find most invaluable. If you are like me and you want to do the course, but keep on putting it off, I highly recommend taking the plunge. It will stand you in good stead and you will have a major tool to prevent serious disease in your patients (as well as you and your loved ones).

Game-changing software for functional medicine practitioners I've been using the Optimal DX software for just over a decade, and it is an absolute game changer for both diagnostic insights and patient compliance. The reports generated are attractive and easy to read. My patients appreciate the detail, actionability, and the ability to learn more about the implications of an out of optimal range lab value. I found this to be very helpful, even after 21 years of clinical experience. Another important aspect is its self-marketing capacity. I have generated new patients because a patient had shown their report to friends and family. Talk about a way of building trust before a potential patient even meets you. Again, I've been using Optimal DX for many years and found the functional blood chemistry reports to be extremely helpful. I've been pleased to see ongoing updates, improvements, and expansion of the software. Frankly, I'm excited to see where it will be in another 10 years!
