I bought a used 35mm film negative… I bought a used 35mm film negative scanner (Minolta Dimage) great bit of kit but software was not compatible with W10. Bought the Hamrick software to undertake the scanning ..... it did scanning of 700 35mm slides very well. Only issue I had was with software the Scanner had USB connection issues - didn't have them without the sofware. Fix was a shorter USB lead and it all worked OK.

Excellent Lifesaver for Old Hardware!! I’ve used Vuescan over the last six or seven years for my family/travel Slide and Photo Archive project. The mechanics on my Nikon L5000 are still fine, even though the company long ago stopped supporting it. The VS driver and software keep it and my project(s) chugging along. Well worth the cost and product support is excellent.

My Nikon Coolscan 9000 software busted… My Nikon Coolscan 9000 software busted August 25, 2014. I have used VueScan at least weekly ever since for B/W and color negs, transparencies, both 35mm and medium format. Being an ex-newspaper-magazine photographer I find all adjustments sufficient to obtain the results I was looking for usually at first attempt. I also use it for Epson 4490 flatbed scanner when scanning anything on paper. Thank you for a good product.

Vuescan protects scanner investment Owned HP 4050g scanner and run iMac desktop. HP stopped providing updated drivers within 2 years after purchase. It was replacement for HP scanner which they had previously abandon. Vuescan provided better controls, more features than HP OEM software. Have used Vuescan to digitize color sides, color prints documents, make hard copies. It is a versatile home office, hobby tool

Highly recommended AAA+ I've just purchased a new Epson V600 scanner and am using it to scan a lifetime of Kodachrome slides. The Epson app was pretty ordinary, Silverfast was better, but after reading dozens of reviews I decided to bite the bullet and get Vuescan. The software cost $179-95 in Australian dollars and what a difference! Like any worthwhile app it takes a bit of time to learn but there are many great tutorials out there so that wasn't a problem. Highly recommended AAA+
